What is Pastel?

Pastel is a marketplace for vintage and antique treasures. From rare collectibles and artwork to timeless decor, Pastel connects collectors, interior designers, and vintage lovers with trusted sellers across the US through stories of each antiques.

Who can use Pastel?

  • Buyers: Anyone can browse and purchase vintage and antique items from verified sellers.
  • Sellers: Individuals and shop owners can create a free storefront and list items for sale.

How do I create an account?

  • Click Sign Up at the top right of the homepage.
  • Choose if you're a buyer.
  • If you are a seller, Join the waiting list, we will get back to you for more details
  • Enter your email, create a password, and follow the prompts.
  • Verify your email to activate your account.

How do I find items?

  • Use the Search by visiting seller’s profile and by checking their listings
  • Filter results by Category, Era, Material, Price, and more.
  • Click on any item to see detailed descriptions, images, and shipping info.

Can I contact a seller?

Yes! On any product page, click Message Seller to ask questions about an item before purchasing.

How do I place an order?

  1. Click Add to Cart on the item page.
  2. Go to your cart and click Checkout.
  3. Enter your shipping information and payment method.
  4. Click Place Order. You’ll receive a confirmation email.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit/debit cards and Stripel transactions.

How is shipping handled?

  • Shipping costs and delivery estimates are listed on each product page.
  • Sellers are responsible for safe and timely shipping.
  • Sellers use Goshippo to ship your products
  • You’ll receive tracking information once your item is shipped.

Can I return an item?

Returns depend on the seller’s policy. Please review the Return Policy listed on the product page. If you face an issue, contact our support team.

How do I open a shop on Pastel?

  1. After you joined waitlist and got accepted
  2. We will send you a signup link through email
  3. Sign in or create an account.
  4. Add payout method
  5. Click Add product in your Shop manager and start selling.
  6. Begin uploading more items with photos and detailed descriptions.
  7. Add your shop name, logo, and description.

What can I sell on Pastel?

You may list:

  • Authentic antiques (100+ years old)
  • Vintage items (20+ years old)
  • Decor, art, collectibles, small furniture, and more
  • No reproductions, counterfeits, or new mass-market products

How do I list a product?

  1. Go to your Seller Dashboard, open Product tab and click Add Item.
  2. Include high-quality photos (minimum 2-5).
  3. Fill out details like title, description, era, origin, condition, dimensions, and price.
  4. Set your shipping options.
  5. Click Publish.

Are there any fees?

  • Listing is free.
  • Pastel takes small sales commission (displayed in your dashboard).
  • There are no monthly subscriptions.

How do I get paid?

  • Funds are released once the item is confirmed as shipped.
  • Payments are transferred to your linked bank account or PayPal.

Can I promote my store?

Yes! Share your store link across social platforms. Pastel is designed so your customers only see your items, not your competitors'.

🛡 Trust & Safety

How does Pastel ensure authenticity?

While Pastel does not currently offer in-house authentication, we encourage sellers to:

  • Provide detailed provenance when possible.
  • Upload high-resolution images showing marks or signatures.
  • Be transparent about condition and history. Buyers are encouraged to message sellers with questions before purchasing.

How do I report a problem?

Click Report This Item on any listing or contact us directly if:

  • An item is misrepresented.
  • A seller is unresponsive.
  • You suspect a counterfeit or violation. Our team investigates all reports swiftly.

⚙️ Account & Technical

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Click Forgot Password on the login page. You’ll receive an email to reset it.

How do I update my profile or payment info?

  1. Go to your Account Settings.
  2. Edit your name, profile image, shipping address, or payment details.

How do I delete my account?

If you wish to close your account, contact our support team through the Help Center. We’ll process your request within 5 business days.
