Antique ironstone bowl modeled in the form of a naturalistic scallop shell, featuring a smaller shell-molded handle at the hinge. The interior is finely ribbed with radiating flutes. The reverse features an unglazed raised oval footrim, characteristic of late 18th or early 19th-century English tableware.
