The Faces That Keep Your Secrets | TMS 2005 Perpetual Faces Sculptural Vase

Imagine a room filled with books, the evening light settling across their spines. Among them sits this vessel—quiet, watchful, its faces turned in every direction, each seeming to know a different part of the story.

Turn it slowly and one face becomes another. A shared eye, a sweeping cheek, a softly curved mouth: the features flow together in a continuous sculptural rhythm. There is no single front to admire, no final expression to discover. Its beauty keeps unfolding as you move around it.

Finished in warm ivory with earthy terracotta shading, this TMS Perpetual Faces vase, marked © TMS 2005, evokes the atmosphere of classical sculpture and the intriguing repetition of surrealist design. Light gathers along its brows and noses, then slips into the shadows beneath its eyes, lending the faces a wonderfully contemplative presence.

Its weathered finish adds another layer to that presence. Rubbed surfaces and small marks lend it the character of an object that has been handled, displayed, and carried into another chapter—a piece whose appeal continues beyond a pristine surface.

Place it among antique books in a moody study, on a mantel beneath an oil painting, or where changing window light can reveal a different expression throughout the day. Displayed empty, its sculptural form speaks for itself.

For the collector drawn to unusual objects, classical faces, and rooms with a little mystery, this is a piece to return to—and notice anew.

The characterful finish includes surface wear and small finish losses; a fine crack is visible extending down from the rim. Offered as a decorative display piece; watertightness has not been verified.
