Pitman-Dreitzer was a prominent American importer and manufacturer of glassware and decorative housewares, active mid-century. Following its acquisition by the Lancaster Colony Corporation in 1966, the company continued to produce popular entertaining lines like the "Silver Elegance" series, which combined classic glass forms with ornate, silver-plated rococo-revival metalwork.
