✨ Rare Find: Complete Set of Three Vintage Chinese Cloisonné Nesting Boxes ✨

Up for grabs is a beautiful, fully intact nesting set of three vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel trinket/pill boxes. Finding all three sizes surviving together as a complete set is incredibly rare!

🎨 Design & Symbolism:

Modeled in the classic convex shape of a traditional Yuanbao (sycee) wealth ingot, these boxes are rich with traditional Chinese folklore symbolism meant to bring prosperity and good fortune.

• Exterior: Features a deep red background with hand-set brass wirework (cloisons) creating a beautiful pattern of ancient cash coins (qian), stylized ritual incense cauldrons (Ding), and ruyi cloud motifs. The bottom features an interlocking double-coin design.

• Interior: Opens to reveal a striking, high-gloss turquoise blue counter-enamel glaze—the hallmark of authentic mid-to-late 20th-century Chinese export artisan work.

📏 Condition & Sizing:

• Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The enamel colors are vibrant, the wirework is flush, and the lids sit nicely securely. (Please see all macro photos for details).

• Includes: 3 nesting sizes (Large, Medium, Small) that fit seamlessly inside one another.

Perfect as unique vanity trinket holders, pill boxes, ring containers, or a styling accent on a bookshelf!
